Blog feature - LeatherPrince

Kiba the Great Dane leather keychain ( Black )

Lovely Cherry Leather Keychain ( Red / Green )

Deuce the Boston Terrier Leather Coin Pouch ( Yellow )

En ze hebben sinds kort nog een shop waar met meer bewerkt leer wordt gewerkt: LeatherMind.

Handtooled Women leather zipper purse ( Blue )

Handtooled Women leather zipper purse ( red )

Handstitched Lady leather Handbag ( Brown )

Jemma the Dachshund leather coin purse ( Blue )

Sewing experience: a second lined zippered pouch attempt

I made a second 3.15" x 2.95" lined zipper pouch, without interface and it looks already better then my first pouch and it's better secured on the sewing ends.
This time I watched the youtube video sewing tutorial of soreribsin about sewing lined zipper pouches and made it like she did.

I'm only still not very happy with the zipperpart, it's rounding up and I want a square or a rectangle shaped pouch.
But I can always make a pillow for pinning needles out of this pouch ;)

New listings

I finally created some new items after two weeks. The last 2 weeks were 2 dull-jewellery making weeks; the inspiration was gone. But yesterday my new ordered supplies finaly arrived :) and I made 24 new jewels.
Here are the first 4:

A Strawberry tiny bottle

Green flowers in resin.

Dragonflies in the galaxy resin ring

And my favorite: green and orange flowers casted in resin - ring
Some of these are still available at my shop

That's it for now. I've set up some goals for the next month: I want 100 beautiful listed items in my shop. And in the end of the year 200 :) .. and thats also my limit.
Fingers crossed.

My latest creations

I've worked on 3 dried flowers in resin , dried moss in pink resin and my ladybug cabochon. They are finally sanded and ready to place in an open pendant. It took me 2 hours to sand them :/ Sanding is the worst part of making resin jewels.

And it keeps going...

...here's another treasury list called Dried Flowers by thepurplepainter
I have to be careful not getting used to this. Someday it could/will stop :)

My item is in the first row fourth picture, yes again the flower pendant :)

My latest creation

I love this resin masterpiece. I bought some cheap potpourri from a shop in Holland. There were tons of little flowers and leaves in the bag and I picked two different colored flowers, white and orange, placed it in an 1 inch sized cabochon mould and put some clear resin in it. After the first layer had cured into jelly, I placed a layer of black colored resin onto it.
And finally this is the result, It took a while before the silver plated pendants arrived in Holland. They came all the way from the states, unfortunatelly Holland doesn't have such nice and simple jewelry supplies. :(
You can find it in my etsy shop.
You can find your own resin kit here.
