How I love online non-Dutch shopping

Today I spend $25,= including shipping costs on four new resin molds. Too much scratches in my old molds annoyed my mood every week. And I hate sanding the imperfections out of my resin creations.
I spend it in an american based webshop.
If I would buy these molds online in my country, the netherlands, than I would have to pay $55,= :-o
I'm not kidding, a lot of products in the netherlands are wayyyy toooo expensive if you compare it to the prices outside of the netherlands.
And since I discovered Etsy, buying my supplies outside the netherlands is like breathing for me now :)

My camera

I frequently hear that my photoos on Etsy are great. People often think that I must have some expensive reflex camera with lots of megapixels and other fancy gadgets. But the truth is, I don't have that. My camera is a simple digital camera with 10.2 megapixels and I bought it online for $70,= . It's a Samsung ES15 and I love this camera :) Taking pictures at daylight works best for me and the cam. I'm only searching for a lightbox/-tent, I just hate it when I want to take new photoos and it's dark outside.

Treasury love: Wuthering Heights

I'm in love with this treasury made by rheaclements. It's not because of my ring is in it :) (today I discovered that I'm in 77 treasuries on Etsy... hoorayy :D) but it's the combination of colors that I love so much.
And I've had to share it with you.

I started my little shop with suede ribbons as accessoire part of the necklaces but I won't use those anymore; it's a new year and it's time for some new jewel accessoires. I bought silvertone chains; with the photography it's faster to list items , with suede ribbons I always had to dot little white dust away in photoshop. But not anymore since yesterday! Here are a couple of some new items that i've been working on:

These new shimmering items change colors in golden, green, leu, silver when you move the necklaces.

Sewing experience: a second lined zippered pouch attempt

I made a second 3.15" x 2.95" lined zipper pouch, without interface and it looks already better then my first pouch and it's better secured on the sewing ends.
This time I watched the youtube video sewing tutorial of soreribsin about sewing lined zipper pouches and made it like she did.







I'm only still not very happy with the zipperpart, it's rounding up and I want a square or a rectangle shaped pouch.
But I can always make a pillow for pinning needles out of this pouch ;)
