Opdrachtje: Metaaldraad om Paardenhaar

Een paar weken geleden heb ik een opdrachtje afgerond waarbij koperdraad om een plukje paardenhaar heen gewikkeld moest worden, voor een antiek effect.Zie hier het resultaat:

Adverteren in een weekblad

Een paar weken geleden werd ik via email benaderd door een medewerkster van een reclamebureau. Ze bood een adverteerplekje aan in een weekblad: Vriendin, met 30% korting, en ik zei 'Ja'.
Spannend, dacht ik, ik heb nog nooit in een nationaal bekend week-/maandblad geadverteerd. Het ging om een 5cm x 5cm plekje op een advertentiepagina.
Ik moet zeggen, het heeft wel wat om iets van jezelf in papieren vorm terug te vinden in een echt tijdschrift.
Maar adverteren in een echt blad heeft pas zin als de advertentie minimaal een kwartpagina groot is :') want op een paar extra bezoekers op m'n website na merkte ik niks bijzonders op m'n website door die advertentie, helaas.

Teardrop Ringen

Na wat zoeken en experimenteren ben ik in mn webshopje sinds vandaag overgegaan op een andere vorm voor mn sieraden, naast de ronde vormen; ik noem het maar "Teardrop". In de toekomst volgen er nog veel meer vormen met diverse kleuren.

Sinds kort heb ik een widget/gadget genaamd "Google Translate" gedownload voor dit blog zodat deze blog gewoon vertaalt kan worden naar elk gewenste taal.
Ik heb nl. bestloten om gewoon lekker in het NEDERLANDS te typen!! :D
Steeds zinnen eerst vertalen in je hoofd is namelijk irritant.

Janimies worlds is dus voortaan in het Nederlands te volgen .... en dat leest denk ik ook fijner :)

Since I discovered Etsy and all the shops in it , especially those wonderfull shops where you can buy great handmade sewed items like wallets and bags, I finally started to save for my first sewing machine.
Those shops really inspired me to be even more creative.

Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of sewing and fabric crafts

In januari of this year I bought this hugh book of Martha Stewart, it is called: Encyclopedia of sewing and fabric crafts. She also wrote Encyclopedia of crafts, I dont have that book yet but I am definitely going to buy that one as well. Since I bought my first sewing machine in september of last year all these little projects are popping up in my head but with this book and the step-by-step instructions she gives on a lot of projects, its very easy to get started and finish a project succesully. It's a great book for a beginner like me :) I will soon show some finished sewing projects on my blog.

Blogspot Error ?

Since a couple of days, or maybe weeks i am experiencing a very annoying error on blogger / blogspot: I can't log in properly and I can't add comments under my own blogs or under the blogs of other bloggers.
Am I the only one ?
However, I have found a temporary solution after some google search: use Google Chrome or Firefox for blogging and it all works perfectly again!
But I hope this problem will be fixed soon, I don't like using 2 browsers at the same time.
